I am often left wondering as to what colour the sky is on their planet ?
There aren't enough copper mines currently developed that could even facilitate the copper required for an EV transition (both grid and vehicles). Also EVs are bad in cold environments; they won't start. The batteries explode when the cars is flooded. The cars is also junk if the battery is ever flooded too. EVs cannot haul significant loads for commercial use. EVs are also bad value, as they cost too much to produce.
Anyone who studies commodity stocks, like copper, already knows the logistical impasse of EVs. Further, even if they did transition to EVs, and built them on a mass scale, this would drive the already rising copper price to prohibitive levels. Also, they have not even sorted out which precious metals are most suitable for the battery technology.
I am not anti-EV. I just believe they are not feasable and possible on a large scale.
Copper mining CEOs have already been emphatic about how copper defecits make mass-scale EVs an impossibility. If you want me to support my point, reply below. I'll direct you to a YT vid you can watch on the subject.
