  1. Bidirectional Charging is another reason that EVs using and integrating into the Power Grid will save $trillions. Utilities can offer EV owners incentives to allow bidirectional charging at peak use hours.

  2. CHAdeMO is the only charging protocol in the world with the bidirectional charging (V2G) functionality enabled.
    Every EV should have been build with it, But indeed some manufactors were reluctant to think about the future, like Tesla.
    Tesla should have taken the lead with CHAdeMO. That would have given the EV world a head start. But no, everything for Elons ego and profit.

  3. Here where I live some cars could be over 40 years old. Typically average age of cars is 13-15 years. My car is already 13 years old. The goal is to keep that car at least to 2032. Still cars (EVs) must last at least 25 to 30 years so I do not believe that current EV batteries will last over car lifetime if the lifetime for EV is set to that.
