Heavy downpours and flooding have hit Barcelona, triggering red alerts, days after catastrophic floods further south in Valencia.
Spain is sending another two and a half thousand soldiers to help with the clean-up, distribute food and water and stop looters.
They’ll join five thousand sent over the weekend amid growing anger over the handling of the disaster.
The death toll remains at 217, including a British couple, as the search for bodies goes on.

This Carmen is one of the guilty! Climate always changes it is a natural occur an example, humans have no impact at all! Different in regards to pollution of the oceans, that one is real and totally caused by human! In regards to the flooding the warning was out for days and there is no excuse as to why a evacuation order wasn’t issued! The Spanish government has failed ever since Spain exists, it always was and still highly corrupt and mismanaging. With proper planning and protective construction 70% of the damages could have prevented. Those floods are reoccurring, yes, this time it was extreme but the writing was on the wall and action could have been taken! Assassins is definitely the proper term to use for the once responsible! 2000 people unaccounted for says it all!

Spanish politicians have never seen the usual typhoon now in asia is becoming worst too but because people have been warned and evacuated, casualties were not that much but of course damage in the infrastractures is unavoidable. There are still some casualties when people refuse to leave their homes etc but they have been warned earlier.
While CO2 reduction is integral to mitigating climate change effect, we are not doing enough in over industrialisation and deforestation.
This was an impossible to predict extreme disaster like a sudden ambush I send my deepest condolences to the friends and family who lost their beloved 🙏

Ah, ok. So this lady says that climate change is guilty for not proper alarming people or even evacuation? Climate change is guilty in destroying dams? Climate change is guilty in not building already designed infrastucture to cope with the flloods?
Without in any way diminishing the heartbreak and loss that occurred, is there any time in broadcasting to dedicate to the emergency workers and services that helped save lives and the people whose lives were saved? Or is the assumption that it’s simply not worth covering?
