Come hell or high water, the world must get serious about #climate #adaptation

Climate change impacts are already hitting vulnerable communities the hardest, and without urgent action, the world is on course for a dangerous temperature rise of 2.6-3.1°C this century. This video highlights the urgent need for countries to increase climate adaptation efforts, especially through committed adaptation financing.

While international support for developing nations has grown, the funding gap remains vast, leaving adaptation plans under-resourced and progress stalled. We need a bold, coordinated approach to financing, capacity-building, and technology transfer to support communities facing escalating climate risks.

A transformational approach to climate adaptation is essential. Collective, well-financed action can help protect people and ecosystems worldwide.
