I believe that Davy Hite truly spoke from his heart in trying to advocate for the anglers. I learned early in life. You can please some of the people some of the time but you can’t please all of the people all of the time. Keep swinging Davy! Another good one WednesDave 👊🏻
Great show as always, Dave!! Love hearing all the different opinions but isn’t no entry fees what everyone wanted? The anglers need to work hard to sell themselves to the sponsors and use that money to help them get the travel expenses covered. Still love BASS and it’s a great thing they have done. AFTCO Breakwater!!! Loyal humper!!
Competitive bass fishing is one of the youngest competitive sports in the world. We can’t be golf, the NBA, NHL, or the NFL, in our “infancy”. Golf is at least 100 years old. When that started it paid crap. Same with all the other sports when they were young. This is a perfect opportunity to draw in more non endemic sponsors to help raise the payouts. It takes time but we live in a world where “instant gratification” is what everyone is used to. Be patient young grasshoppers. I truly believe this is a step in the best direction for competitive bass fishing. This SHOULD make everyone show up to WIN instead of hope for a top 50 cut. KVD said it best a long time ago, “If you don’t think you can win, why did you even show up?”

I love hackney but he’s missing the point. Every calculation that’s been presented has included entry fees. Every new calculation is fact based. The only people the new version helps is 45 and below AOY anglers. It immensely screwed the guy that averages a 25 finish

Unfortunately Bassmater and other organizations had payouts that rewarded mediocrity. Entry fees allowed that.

Aftco Breakwater Gloves! I’ve tried multiple brands and have yet to find a pair that truly help folks with severe Reynauds. Would love a free pair no doubt, but I’ll probably buy some as well. If nothing else I’ll have an extra pair. Can’t go wrong there!
If you're not able to fish like the top anglers in the world, then you don't belong.. not every spot should pay our..

It should be that if you're not fishing on Sunday, you don't get a check.. you could even make Sunday top 15 anglers
There needs to be some fall season tournaments also..

What I'm hearing is those that are lazy or just not good enough to be in the elites are crying because they are going to have to put in the work to be in the elites now..

No anger on the elites should be JUST trying to get a check.. screw 50th place.. Top 15 pay outs should be all .. they're the Elites the best fisherman in the world if your not going for the win then you need to get out of the elites
