The guy said it's impossible to deport the millions of illegals? You don't have to deport them, they will self deport when Trump starts throwing them in prison and enforcing the laws. Federal law says it's 2 years in prison if caught in the country illegally. Back in the 1950's Eisenhower hired 5000 agents that started arresting illegals, and millions self deported back across the border. Their home country might be a sht hole, but it's better than going to prison for two years. If they get caught reentering a 2nd time, it's 5 years in prison and a 3rd time, ten years. All Trump has to do is simply enforce the laws and they'll self deport on their own dime. .

I watched Channel 4s election night coverage today and it was utterly disgraceful.Naked bias by the presenters and Emily Maitlis was totally unhinged as she attacked Boris and Sean Spicer who were kind enough to appear on the panel for some kinda balance and were relentlessly attacked by that witch.

As an American, sometimes I wonder if I'm getting an accurate picture of English people from UK media…. Or if they have an accurate picture of us.
Do they not teach in schools how we solved the problem of integrating regional laws and customs with the federal government. England couldn't do it, they would either go toward feudalism or extreme centralization. That's the real check and balance is the county sheriff and the state officials and the federal executive being forced to work together to produce tangible results in a way the collateral branches of government don't always have to.
I'm sure the UK has a system like that now, or maybe even a better variant because it's easier to pull off when you have much less territory, but it comes from us.
Did they teach you that the reason we were worried about Canada for a while was because England would have set it up as a proxy rival to the US, if they had a chance; and that this was their prevailing motive in choosing war instead of diplomacy: to reduce the strength of the colonies and pave the way for a rival nation?
