In today’s episode of Starmergeddon, Ben sits down with Zac and Rory the day after the US Election, to talk through exactly what Trump’s win means for the UK…

I think labour's big issue is that Trump is not going to care about them at all, hes going to group them with the rest of Europe. Atleast with the conservatives, trump saw them as an allie that he can use against europe.
You guys do know that elon and his dad don't get along. So what is dad says doesnt say anything about elons position.
Bringing people's family in is weaksauce. You lot are the cause of the symptoms you complain about. Cringe.
You're accents speak volumes more than the things you say…
Means nothing. He's going to play golf and get 2% of a wall built again. Same as last time.
5:51 in, I'm out. Unwatchable, smugnerant nonsense.
lol, other than the moronic clown shoes in the us who voted for him, very few people in the world think he's some formidable tough guy.
Me trying to find the leaderboard in the video🔭
The elephant in the room is the UK's absolute dependance on the US for its nuclear deterance.
The Royal Navy, for some bizarre reason, uses the US Trident II missles.
This gives trump (or any US president) massive leverage over the UK.
They can halt the supply/maintanence of the missles and probably just disable the existing stock.
Especially suspicious considering two consequative Royal Navy Trident II tests failed.
No one can handle Trump, not even Trump. The guy is legit unhinged. There is a reason they call him "The Mad Pumpkin".
You're sanewashing Trump. You have to remember that fundamentally, he is mad and incapable of seeing further than the end of his mushroom dong. There's no point in trying to ascribe a rational ideology to him beyond dictatorial ambitions.
Excellent to outstanding video. Very good analysis. Tip – don't butter up to the EU.
Zac making a lot of sense to me today.
Trump's Mum was British. So he might go easy on us.
If there's peace now with Russia geared up to absolute nuts levels of war economics they'll send everything they've got into Moldova or Georgia.
"You're the greatest Donny, so clever, so strong, so rich, such big hands" there sorted
Europe, including the UK, should maintain a massive fleet of ships, planes, and gorund forces – 12 enornous battle groups and name each group after one of the 12 Battlestars from Battlestar Galactica.
Keir is pathetic and can't handle trump
No longer ritorneremo, we ARE back
Where is the world leaders leaderboard???
Why would he have to do that when Kamala will take over in 2025. She will travel to Finland soon.
"S- s – suh – sss- speshul relayshunship…?" – The UK snivelling up to America on hands and knees with a dog bowl in its mouth.
Starmer cant handle telling the truth and neither can Trump, Maybe they will be friends?
Nuclear. Also you don't talk about how Biden sees himself as Irish, despite having majority British ancestors, minoritarian, identifying what makes you different etc. Also Biden visited Ireland before the UK if i remember correctly. Nice to see nuanced take however, pointing at the American industries/politics as a whole instead of just red vs blue.
Could we PLEASE get a detailed overview of Zack's opinion and readings on Macron's plan?
Strategic autonomy for Europe is the only way Europe retains any relevancy internationally. We in the UK must get behind it and need to get over this non-existent fantasy of being closer to America than the EU.
I hope the BNP takes over
I'm quite impressed with Zach's understanding of the war in Ukraine in this video. I obviously don't hold him in high enough regard usually.
Man! I didn't add the coupon code
Starmer has been focused on relations with the EU from the months prior to the election. It's pretty clear that closer alignment with the EU is not only the right thing to do as we find ourselves less able to rely on the USA as the years go by, but it's also what the UK government seems intent on doing.
