  1. Bending metaphors.
The greenhouse effect is talked about as though it works entirely like a vacuum flask.
Even if they don't come right out and say it the rhetoric is all chosen to foster that mental impression.
Green houses don't really trap heat they prevent convection which reduces heat loss. If you want to grow tropical plants in snow country during winter you will still need far more than a few sheets of glass to keep it nice and toasty .
But like many settled sciences that have later proven to be totally wrong as soon as someone paid more than a cursory look in their direction no one has ever checked if c02 is actually a green house gas other than its vast benefit when used in green houses.
    It's actually quite simple
Hot air rises cold air falls. If c02 captures heat then it gets hot and rises and because it emits that heat as an infrared photon the heat will travel out of the atmosphere into space.
If you pour water on to something hot the water is heated and carries the heat away, c02 carries heat away just the same possibly making the planet cooler. It doesn't matter that if as they claim c02 can emit radiation back down to earth , above a height of about 2 metres that radiation is going to head upwards again without touching the surface. It will behave like a bouncing ball only up and down are reversed so that space is the direction it travels

  2. I just want to watch my garden grow, being fed (mostly) from Carbon Dioxide from the atmosphere… with all that carbon dioxide, I'll be expecting the rainfall to water my garden, too.
All that from my rain-protected porch (as a side-note: with all that Carbon Dioxide, can I expect that the blood-sucking female mosquitoes won't find my refuge?)

  3. Climate crisis hysteria is a luxury: only the rich can afford it. Fed up with these billionaires trying to control our lives. Thank God for President Trump who will put real science back on the table and not the fairytales that they are pushing down our throats.

  4. The big issue is "land use change"! We are more and more people, and we keep building on flood plains. You have got a lot of big flood plains in the US. Get it, someone with a little bit of geography or any earth sciences, others, just Googlllle "flood plains in the ….. map" fill state in the ……

  5. As a child in 1963 I moved from a small town of Pineville, La to the big city in a different country. Yes I moved to Victoria, TX. Our family made friends with people in that City. We stared noticing lots places with major damage in that part of the state. We were told Carla did that. Hurricane Carla made landfall in Texas in Sept 1961 which was more than two years before we moved to Victoria. However, the damage was still on display. It was one of the strongest storms of the 20th century. Which is contrary to the suggestions of the global warming propagandist. . .

  6. Extremely large flares/multiple large flares expected from sunspot groups with large area

"We tried to estimate the probabilities of occurrence of a SXR flare ≥≥ X100 for 30, 50, and 100-year periods to be 0.70−0.76, 0.87−0.91, and 0.98−0.99, respectively, using the complementary cumulative distribution function (CCDF) of sunspot areas for the 138-year data."

By comparison of the magnetogram with that of other more recent X-class flares, the soft X-ray intensity of the Carrington flare was estimated to be X45"

  7. I discovered the 1919 and 1940’s floods in Asheville days after this last event. Took about 3 minutes. Why didn’t those blaming climate change do 3 minutes of research before spouting their lies? Had they their articles would be different unless they think everyone takes their words as gospel.
I do hope the Trump 47’ administration requires that solid evidence be provided to prove their climate change claims.

  8. The other day I was thinking about England 500 years ago.
No potatoes and tomato and banana and generally not many vegetables.
People overlook the land and lattitude.
You could only farm with animals and very hardy crops.
We ate whales and a lot more fish
    Now .
Everything comes by boat or out glasshouse.
Or flowers from Kenya in a 747 jumbo jet.
Schoolkids go to school in cars
We're not in Kansas anymore Dorothy….

  9. They opened 3 DAMS TO CREATE THE SIDDEN FLOODING. EARTH is NOT millions and billions years old. Wizards, magicians FANTASIES are todays scientists. The White robe instead of Merlins brown . Alchemist. They want the Gold and Litium. SOyou BELIEVE that your ancestors were monkeys as well then?

  10. I wonder if Moore's law has turned in to a sort of chicken/egg dilemma. Is the progress advancing according to Moore, or is the industry/research unconsiously setting its pace to go along with it? 🤔😋

  11. Winter is here again. I can only hope that this time around that elusive warming, scientists keep promising will finally show up. As our furnace struggles to maintain a temperature of 68°F l am not feeling hopeful.

  12. By using brighter, more alarming colors on weather maps that depict otherwise normal weather swings, and the unprecedented use of the word "unprecedented" in delivering reports and forecasts, the climate grifters hope to have the general populations of hold-outs from globalism soiling themselves in utter terror, demanding an answer for the danger they imagine to be imminent.

  13. I'm in the former DDR and we just had a 9-day Dunkelflaute. It's OK though, I can often detect the smell of burning anthracite in the air. That's from homes in the village, not any coal-fired power station. They burn that lignite from near Aachen.

  14. Climate "S C I E N T I S T S " are a myth: they do not exist. No competent University gives out degrees in "Climate Science" – there is no such thing. (Show me a University that DOES, and I'll show you a totally corrupt university, that knoweth not its Collective *rse from its ill positioned elbow.) Proper "scientists" are called 'Chemists' and/or 'physicists' or 'biologists' or some such – indicating a thorough study of a legitimate field of enquiry. Economic science is another myth – as is "political science" – and all the "social" sciences. Scientists may love what theyu study -but they cannot be emotionally "loyal" to a particular possible outcome – they have to at least indifferent, at best skyptical – always critical. Tosh remains bosh.

  15. John, do you subscribe to the cyclical earth catastrophe theory? Geomagnetic pole shift, failing of our protective magnetic field, solar micro nova and Crustal slip? 12,000yr deluge cycle due now?
