The only reason you need insurance is the banks require it to cover their risk of the loan. Don't buy a house if cannot buy it for cash. The watch what happen. The insurance companies are trying to get the politicians to pass a bill to require you to buy insurance even if your home is paid for. This is absurd. If my house is paid for I should not be forced to buy insurance. by law.
God forbid they use engineers to solve and built a fireproof home, stop building on lowlands tonavoid flooding or even figure out a earthquake proof home. AS IF, we dont have brains
But President Elect Donald J. Trump said Climate Change was a hoax. Don’t these insurance companies need to support the President Elect?

The fires are worse in California because they refuse to take precautions to prevent them, and won’t build any reservoirs to have access to water.
There has been a zero increase in extreme weather events. They get to end reasonably priced coverage, while increasing the price for coverage in other parts of the country. There is no "Climate Crisis". This is where normal people are forced out of their homes, to be sold to investment companies to be rented….. you will own nothing, and be happy.

I actually work in Insurance in California, and no, I'm nowhere near the top of the ladder. Point being, the amount of assumption in the comment section is monumental. Cenk pretty much hits the nail on the head on the overall reality of the situation. Climate Change is very real and Oil Barons spend millions conditioning the public to think it isn't. Think Daily Wire.

The only “inconvenient truth” is that ALL of the predictions made over the past 10,20,30 years have not come true. So the real Inconvenient Truth is that the whole climate change industry is a scam. If it were true the predictions would be proven out and they wouldn’t have to ignore science that disproves or casts doubt on their claims and they wouldn’t have to lie to try and make their point.

I was on Jordan's side before this vid; Cenk won me over in that all our rights have limits… Another example that made me think while watching is if parents have absolute authority over their children as Jordan is arguing vs the interest the govt has in protecting children as Cenk is arguing, that would apply to underage children being married off to older men as is still going on in rural and super religious communities, or no? Any sensible person would say that child brides should be illegal and that gov'thas a role in protecting said children, so using this argument i am siding with cenk. Sorry Jordan
