Last night it was due to "climate crisis" according to this sensationalist Ch4 News hack. MSM is not relevant anymore – much better, factual coverage from independent amateur journos.
No mention of forestry mismanagement, no mention of infrastructure decay, no mention that the chapparal vegetation has evolved to survive regular fires and recover rapidly which speaks to it being nothing unusual, no mention of overdevelopment, no mention of arsonists – yes it's all down to the climate crisis.

Man…this did not happen when temperatures were 50C ! This happened in January at the beginning of the northern hemisphere winter ! And is it all due to anincrease in human generated CO2 emissions which is scientifically acknowleged to constitute less than 5% of the atmospheric CO2? How can this fairytale still be belived?. There is ample evidence that the climate is always changing. There is very little evidence that these changes are predominantly caused by anthropogenic CO2.
Lack of water because they've allowed anyone to drill for water and so depleted the water table. This includes Saudi Arabia who have been using the water to grow alfalfa which it then ships back home to feed its cattle. Globalisation gone mad.

Pumping all of the fresh water into the sea, for instance. Then wondering why there's nothing to put out the fires with. Nothing dumber than these arrogant climate change twats who are convinced they can change the world by saving a fish, that, going by tens of millions of years historical evidence, will go extinct anyway just the same as 99% of any other creature that has ever lived on the planet.
