  1. You mean to tell me that the LA wildfires weren't the fault of bad Democrat-led government at the state or city level? Or D.E.I. policies. Or lesbian fire chiefs. Or non-white, male firefighters. Or smelt. Or an offline reservoir. Or the decision not to control the weather to bring rain to pit out the fires. Or, or, or…

You mean to tell me that climate change is the actual cause? That, and the lack of any requirements for homeowners or builders to build more fire-resistant dwellings?

I live in the East, and I knew all this already. Why hadn't the people most at risk paid any attention?

Extended drought results in tinder-dry vegetation (a.k.a. fuel). Warm temperatures and high winds. Add a spark and this is what happens. It ain't rocket science.

Even with reservoirs and lakes at 120% of full pool, Tanks are going to run dry, reducing water pressure to hydrants when draw rate exceeds pumping rate by a factor of three.

No urban water infrastructure could control the level of fires LA experienced. Period.

As the old saying goes: "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure."

As a nation, we are all going to undergo a reckoning as the level of loss from severe weather events and natural disasters is unsustainable.

  2. Yh but theres. another reason this one dummy ah guy thought it was funny to throw a golf ball in fire and he landed it in some leafs and then it was spreading dummy ah guy in tiktoc

  3. So sick of the merchants of hate and righteous indignation going on and on about homeless people, Newsom, and whatever else. The truth is much more simple and you’ve laid it out well.

  4. Bad decisions by leadership was a huge handicap for being prepared. Yes high winds and fire they knew they would have if anyone was paying attention. Lots of blame to go around.

  5. We get why they started, they can’t be out because Calis scumbag government thought reservoirs were not necessary. This PC approach to your logic is why it’ll keep happening.

  6. The rebuilding part of the conversation is so important… not rebuilding homes in naturally dangerous zones; if they must be rebuilt, do it as she mentioned with the best fire-resistant construction available. This should be mandatory.

  7. You failed to mention the reduction in controlled burns, which is why all that last-year growth (from last summer, mind you) was still there to begin with. And that DOES have to do with local government policy/spending.

    This COULD HAVE BEEN PREVENTED.

The more y'all turn away from indigenous ways, the more everyone suffers.

  8. I live in Idaho, we have been required for YEARS if we live in a fire prone area and are building new structures OR renovating, you MUST have fire proofed materials. Does California not have these rules?

  9. The bottom line is that California has a government that is reactive instead of proactive.
There’s nothing you mentioned that couldn’t be seen with the human eye and yet you all chose to do nothing.

    No fire breaks
    No caching of water
No positioning of firefighting equipment in strategic locations
No flame retardant on roof tops
No evacuation drills, or even pre-planning
No early warning or evacuation orders

It’s literally like watching the school being fun by the children!

  10. Still didt want to accept n say this is from God Almighty.. used ur brain why in LA why not other place what the different?? For sure all of ur answers always act like u r good ur the best in everything still argue God Power..

  11. @pbsterra
    "For a pretty simple reasons . . ."

Im going to agree, but disagree.

I agree with the valid points that your presented.

But im gonna disagree cause its because the US has been a toxic lazy extensively divided classwarfare tool shitshow & pushing dysfuctional political agendas, not seeking to actually help its environment nor humans.

    1) When the US set out to attack & destroy Libya, to over throw & destroy whatever Gaddafi created – The 1st thing the US airforce bombed – was the Massive water works systems that were created in Libya that were used to turn deserts into lush farm lands.

The US should of been learning from that tech that they had created, then used it to create a massive water works systems to help hydrate California, & into the mid west & texas.. which have all had their water tables vastly dropped & have been dealing with severe droughts over the last decade.

There wouldn't be wild fires if there was an investment into a water works systems like that.

    2) Like I mentioned above, the US has been a toxic classwarfare tool shitshow. The aholes in power ran weather warfare experiments, which lead to hurricane Katrina destroying louisiana new orleans areas..(prior to land fall, there was a youtube vid with a high ranking naval officer explaining the weather experiment seeding the clouds to pull/direct the storm in great scientific detail & in total amazement that it was working, after land fall, that vid was No where to be found).
Then the local rehabilitation policies were manipulated, making it so that most of the locals could no longer rebuild their properties. (I forget what major magazine did an article covering that part of it, with the title "How to Steal a Coastline". Which explained how the rich had set out to steal the land for those that didn't have the resources to fight back against the bs.

California, has been hated by the rightwingers. We've already had satellites in space with lazers to attack or disable other (Russian) satellites – it wouldn't be hard to direct them onto wide areas on the planet ground to cook areas.
Also, towards the beginning of the previous wild fires, there were reports of drone aircrafts with what appeared to be lazer weapons lighting areas on fire. (Dont think its possible, maybe look into the insane amounts of money that was invested in creating lazer weapons & the things they're able to cook through.)

Its no different then fuel prices skyrocketing in states that voted against trump, & areas that voted for him prices stayed low.

On another levels, letting those trees burn, just depleted our planets & next generations of critical oxygen levels.. just as Canada's prime minister sat back & allowed (he should of been dragged to the hague & prosecuted for Ecocide.) Or the US shitbag medical/pharmaceutical industry aholes that were buying up or pauing for the south American rain forests to be chopped down – where the ancient south Americans literally planted farms/ forests of medicinal plants & animals that had means to heal all kinds of stuff (if found out would of competed with their toxic af capitalistic for-profits deathcare/sickcare enslavment systems).

So, I guess im saying that even though the points you pinted out are valid on the surface.. there's much deeper social, political, & economical situations at play; that the masses aren't capable of grasping.

  12. Lmao since it was natural explain to me why California was neglecting to clean up the debris from the previous years and on top of that why did the government decide to drain the Damns that supplied cali its water… precarious insurance company's if you're that ignorant the feel free to explain why congress people make 1 mil a year when they have a 245k salary? I'll wait, dont bs yourself then try to share it you'll run into people who did research 😅😮

  13. Yeah, we know all that but the fact of the matter is, we’ve been trying to tell California for the longest time how to deal with situations like this in other states who have the same weather patterns you have to clean up the brush they leave it there because of a Certain species of rat they had reservoirs that were not full. They refused to fill them because they wanted all the water to go into the ocean for some fish come on now we know the game you Democrats play this could have been prevented. It’s no lie. This happens every year. They know it happens every year so you can’t say it wasn’t anything to do with their spending or their politicians. It absolutely does. They were not prepared. You should have reservoirs full. You should have water tanks water truckers full at all times when fire season comes you need to be ready and we’ve been trying to tell California this every year, but every year continues to happen and you have people like you who wanna say it’s all natural disasters that might well be the case, but the fact of the matter is you have to prepare be ready and they refuse to turn on the water and let it flow when the fires were raging

  14. California (the most hated and stupid state that truckers hate) has not been cleaning out their underbrush and they are the reason for the fires. And the government of California drained out small lakes and reservoirs to help stupid tiny fish in the ocean

  15. Even DTrump gave a solution for the
fires in CA years ago but no one gave
    it a thought… It’s obvious why this
problem became a disaster for those
    who lost everything….🤦🏽‍♂️

  16. I am a victim of the Eaton fire. In my younger years I hiked and camped in San Gabriel mountains, the epicenter of the fires. Being a 40 plus year resident of Altadena I’ve witnessed Santa Ana winds and drought conditions almost EVERY year but NEVER to that degree! The night of the fire I drove through the neighborhood to survey how far down the fire had progressed and the wind literally my blew 6,000 pound truck from side-to-side forcing me to return home. Hours later I awoke to blinding and choking smoke and quickly realized my ENTIRE block was on fire. I barely made it out alive with just the clothes on my back. Of course I’m GRATEFUL I survived but I’m here to bare witness that global warming is an EXISTENTIAL THREAT not in the future but today to EVERY living thing on this planet! I appreciate this channel and your diligent efforts on the subject!!!✌🏾

  17. The government is killing this earth, and they’re gonna blame everything on us. Energy laser weapons that the government has is setting forests 🌳 on fire. Why? Because they’re just evil.
