As an electrician, I have always said none of this net zero is ever going to work..or snowy 2.0. I have worked on the snowy for 2 years on T1 and T2 plus Guthega nearly 20 years ago. Lobbs hole is a mess and was a beautiful place. Now full of unqualified migrants used for cheap labour.
I went to Bombala to shop yesterday…walked out with no vegetables as they were too expensive or rotten. Drove back home after talking to locals…Bombala is dying. 😢

Rowan talked about the Liberal Party being able to bring down the cost of power. I would like to know how they are going to do this, because our power is still owned and run by private companies. I'm sure they wouldn't bring the prices down. If we were to build nuclear power, will our government own these or will they be privately owned. I keep asking this question, but haven't received an answer yet. Australia needs to buy our power back and put it back into government run hands. Yes it would cost a lot of money, but be well worth it in the end.
Hope Dutton is listening. Unfortunately too many Australians have been totally brainwashed by Labor led by Albanese and the mainstream media!

The government knows there are thousands of people sleeping in the streets, but there just low
income earners, they know 60% are struggling to heat our homes, and others who simply cannot
afford rent… but they are also low income earners, they know an infringement notice is one
third or our incomes, and one tenth of a solicitor's income… The fact is they know how to
solve our housing problem, it's as simple as waving their corrupt hands and release more land,
you know land that we own, and shouldn't have to pay for, why pay for land that they can take
from you at any time or given to those special people that always come before us… and if
they are struggling with funds, the homeless will tell you, stop solar panel subsidies…battery subsidies….heat pump subsidies…. stop grants… stop funding half of the shops in every
suburb and country town…
If we want change, it's not going to happen by re electing rich politicians, listen to them
talk, how sincere… This is our problem, and it can be fixed tomorrow… take back the cheque
book… and put in the hands of someone who cares… it's time to elect an official who will
stand for the 60% of us…
Dutton should promise to build a offshore wind farm directly out in front of Albo’s beach house.

Net zero isn't necessary in Australia, we are in the negative as it is. The fantastic thing about the modern age is the internet and information. Doing a little research myself, just our mangroves alone offset our carbon footprint into the negative, that's not even taking into account our trees, shrubs etc and what the ocean and breaking waves absorb
They're both heavy with WEF members, both sides of the uniparty. They can offer nothing new, either if them.
Don't forget, the party Peter Dutton leads had 9 years of mandate to reform our education system, pull this country together and dismantle the tape making machine. What did they do in that 9years? They signed us up to net zero!
