I've been interested in weather for years and I would say with those early season storms are related the the El Ńiño phenomenon where the El Ńiño makes the Eastern part of the Pacific warmer and makes the Western part of the Pacific cooler which increases moisture and of course creating more storms and it's already happening with the Philippines and Indonesia. And what's even worse is that El Ńiño will increase the number of Typhoons and since this year will be an El Ńiño, so expect more Typhoons this year to be above it's average number which the Northwestern Pacific or WPAC experience on average of 27 storms in a season (if they got named, unnamed storms do not count).
So, after receiving this information our country will experience more storms and Typhoons mostly Tropical storm(TS) strength (39-74mph/ 63-118km/h) because by the time it reaches us it will already weakens after hitting Vietnam which Vietnam acts like a shield for us from Typhoons or even a rare case scenario hit us from the Gulf of Thailand, but a very very low chance of happening of course. But even in a weak category they will still deal a lot of damage mainly duo to flooding rather than winds, but can be both. Neither way we must stay prepare.
