  1. Visited America years ago and one of the most striking thing I remember was in LA travelling in an elevator and the sign read in case of fire or earthquake do not use elevator was rather creepy indeed.

  2. Good 👍 👌 ❤ 😃 I am Glad 😊 💚 In fact when I first Saw 👀 the headline that San Andreas was Waking up ! 😮 😅 I was reminded of a tune 🎵 that my father used to Shout out in the morning 🌄 to wake us kids up early and get us out of bed 🛌 before if we didn't we would get the Cold wet flannel treatment 😅 😂 which wasn't very funny really unless it was my own Sister or Brother getting soaked instead obviously Heh heh heh 😅 😜 ❤ And the Song went Like 👍 👌 😜 this 🎶 " Wakey Wakey Rise and Shine 🎵 You Can't Stay in Bed Till Half Past Nine ! " etc. 😊 or if it was on a Sunday my Dad 👨 ❤ 😅 would put on his Fav, Welsh Choir Music 🎶 or Military Brass Band Music 🎵 Very Loudly or Classical Music 🎶 Like 👍 👌 Beethoven ❤️ or Brahms ❤️ or Mozart ❤ which I rather 🤔 Liked 👍 🤔 😀 really 😊 and in fact Mozart ❤ is my own Favourite Artist 🎶 ❤ even though I really Like 👍 👌 Punk Rock 🧷 🪨 🎸 Heavy or Psychlodelic or Space and Alternative Rock 🪨 🎸 and Blues & Jazz and country occasionally too 😀 ❤ Thank you 💚 😊 🙏 😀 😉 Anyways I am Wishing you all are being Good 👍 😀 and Having 😁 too ❤️ Thank you 💚 😊 🙏 😀 😉 💙 🌟 AMEN ❤️ 🌟 🙏 🌟 💚 ✌️ 🌹 💐 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

  3. 3/24/25🎉. I monitor the site USGS more often than I should. Anyone who lives in California Oregon Washington state have their share of quakes everyday 😮 what we should be worried about is the volcanoes. Cascade. Yellowstone. Fuca de Juan. And any under water volcanoes ❤❤❤❤❤

  4. This is interesting but I lived in the LA area when I was 13, and yes I remember the February 9th 1971 Sylmar earthquake. And every time there's a quake that people can feel it, then the quake people come out and say that we're close to the "Big One". I've heard it all of my life and I will be 63 this year. It's all a bunch of fear mungers. Scaring the daylights out of everyone. I'm sure that someday there's going to be another big earthquake but do I think that we're close to the Big One? No. Time will tell those.

  5. I had to stop this video at when it showed the plate boundary as literally the shoreline. Los Angeles is firmly on the Pacific Plate. The San Andreas Fault runs 30 miles as the cro flies to the east and that is the plate boundary. Also, all of the quakes mentioned in this video were not generated by the San Andreas Fault but other faults that actually run through LA. The recent ones on the Malibu Coast Fault which is a thrust fault. Northridge was on a previously unknown blind thrust fault as was Whittier Narrows. The San Andreas Fault is a strike-slip fault.

  6. As a Kiwi, this may be click bait but our Southern Alps are a double whammy. Strike slip and tectonic plate collision. On top of that, the Pacific and Australian plates ride over each other differently. In the middle is a crush zone that has thousands of feet of mountains thrown up. We are overdue for a big one, long time history shows that major slippages have occurred more than four time in the last thousand years, last time more than 300 years ago. So we are due if not overdue. These earthquakes could be over 9.0. We get constant small shakes along our many fault lines, the recent Kaikoura quake was 7.8 and the 1855 Wellington quake was 8.2. The Japanese tsunami shake was 9.0 and off shore. So do not believe this cannot happen in LA. Do LA citizens think they are immune?

  7. Thank you for this video and I must add the San Jacinto fault is currently the most active in the L.A. region. I'm concerned that the San Jacinto will trigger the San Andreas fault. Let's pray that doesn't happen. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
