  1. Oh the good old days when we were just allowed to experience whatever weather came and didn't have all this hype and modeling. So much word salad in this presentation it's enough to make you dizzy.

  2. I was born in the 1950's, so I have seen a lot of weather from severe draught to severe downpours. So stop sensationalizing weather; "atmospheric rivers". The media these days thrive on this type of drama, writing in a way to make us fear or keep us in fear. Look at the "climate change caption" attached to this video. This was done with "COVID" but this has now stopped because of exposure to crap. The weather is weather! Good to know what is coming put don't dramatize it!

  3. Loved this video! Lots of people lowkey hating, like you clicked the video, just click off if you aren't enjoying it. The modelling is incredible; how lucky we are the get to see it presented and described to us so well! Thanks Chris!

  4. Its is Friday North of Auckland Warkworth big rain drop , I advise to keep off the roads and ork from home and get off the road it will be dangerous and apt to be accidents STAY OFF THE ROAD is my advice

  5. First time commenter & viewer ; re the presenters comment about drought – I'm in 100% agreement – my drinking water comes from one of the many spring fed streams , which has run very low , for the first time in over 40 years – 2 springs , have dried out completely , and this is around wellington ; any rain fall , this year has been very quickly absorbed by the soil .
The West (wet) Coast , if I were tramping in the region , all rivers north , from the Nile Rivrr , would be potentialy flooding , right the way up the coast , and anyone on the Heaphy Track , would be advised to stay put , until it's safer to travel . I hope there won't be evacuations in the South Island .

Katia & region , thankfully , the Maungamuka Hills , will help deliver rain around the area , including over the hills around Ngawha , and areas it is needed – I remember summers out on the Karikari Preninsula , which were very warm – sea temperature , you had to get out to at least 6 foot depth for cool water , or hide out in the Manuka Forest to cool off .
4th day in a row , it's started with heavy cloud , and on 2 , it's been intermittent rain , thru the day , though heavily overcast and little wind – unusually .
Do Enjoy your day , folks & stay safe .
    Namaste , ❤

  6. All the lines that planes drop, that spread out (in bunches, by circling planes). How does that play in to the weather ? What's it for (I.e. purpose) ? They spread right out, and form a hazy layer… But what's it for ?
    Cheers
