The devastation of Lanzarote due to horrific flooding is threatening holidays for international tourists, especially those from Britain. The brown water which is surging down towards the coast has swamped over large parts of land across the island. The disaster began in the early afternoon (April 12), leaving the terrain heavily saturated with water and making it impossible for it to soak away. Instead, water levels continued to rise and moved through channels towards the sea. Arrecife, a city on the island’s south coast, suffered particularly from the harsh weather. The towns of Tahice, Costa Teguise, Guatiza, and Nazaret were also badly impacted.

Bullshit, I was there, it only affected a small part of Lanzarote, our flight arrived on Saturday right before the storm hit. It rained for 2-3 hours. We could go back to the pool when it stopped raining. Weather on Sunday has been really nice. Your video doesn’t show what happened and dramatizes the situation
