Now Singapore is in chaos! Rare flash floods submerge Bukit Timah, people shocked
Heavy rain on the afternoon of 20 April caused flash floods in several areas in Bukit Timah, with the build-up of water disrupting traffic and prompting a swift response from national water agency PUB to issue flash flood risk warnings for more than a dozen locations across the island.
Among the roads affected were Bukit Timah Road, between Clementi Road and Blackmore Drive, Kings Road, between Prince Road and Lutheran Road, the intersection of Stevens Road and Balmoral Road, and Coronation Walk. According to PUB, officers were immediately deployed to assist at the affected locations.

This is nothing compared to real floods in Malaysia where cars are floating away or only the house roof top can be seen . This is just a flash floor that will last at most 2 hours as compared to serious floods that last for days with power cut off

I am sure Bukit Timah landed properties like terrace & bunglow houses value will or has dropped due to flooding. Every year house owners have to face damages to property & cars due to houses getting flooded with mud water. 😮

wow…. it seems it always happen at bukit timah road whenever there is a risk of flood. Hope everyone alright. Stay safe cos these kind of rain seems to be more frequent. Just seem like it. If I may add, this is where I think the BYD yangwang water crossing EV comes in handy.
