Il est certain que les Taiwanais cibleront le barrage des Trois gorges avec leur aviation, des missiles ou des drones en cas d'attaque de la Chine contre l'Ile. Et c'est une menace suffisamment terrible à mon avis pour dissuader la Chine de toute velléité d'attaque contre Taïwan car les dégâts seraient tellement dévastateurs pour la Chine avec des villes et des régions rayées de la carte qu'ils ne peuvent pas se le permettre. C'est une menace aussi dissuasive pour la Chine que la bombe atomique à mon avis.

This is nothing new. In fact, all neighboring states of China, that consider a war with it, put that dam as a priority target. Destroying it will cause so much havoc, that this one blow might end the war right there and then. China will have to over-invest heavily into defending that thing, because it literally has a bullseye drawn on top of it.
