It's been going on for decades, they know we know, so this is just the softening up PR event that they'll use to admit it !
First of all, this is not even feasible. The amount of effort this will require to make a difference is enormous and far beyond what any of these idiots can comprehend but they will do it anyway because, AGENDA. They blamed aerosols for global warming and destroying the ozone layer, now they want to re-introduce them on purpose. They say airplane contrails are contributing to global warming by forming clouds and trapping heat, but then this project intends to increase cloud cover. Reduced sun means a reduced food supply. The atmosphere is fluid and dynamic and these substances will not stay over the UK. They will move and disperse all over the world. It is the same ideological foundation as implementing electric vehicle mandates while dismantling the power supply. We are going to increase demand while reducing supply, thus making everything exponentially more expensive. You must use solar power, but we are going to turn off the sun.

Take winter fuel payments away from the elderly & let them freeze with most expensive energy costs going in UK .Now dim the sun & make them need heating on 365 days of the year. The question I have to ask, who was using THE BRAIN CELL that is available in the entire UK government .

If it was the US, DOGE would have shut this down. £50M is basically being "redistributed" to prove that shade – whether an umbrella or a natural or man-made cloud – is effective in controlling radiated heat. A school child knows as much.
As this will impact the entire planet it should be considered an act of war upon all other nations and responded to accordingly!

Tom Nelson is correct to point out that geoengineering has been around for 100 years and there is plenty evidence to show. I think the disregard the rest of the panel has for it is ironically how climate change believers see them. There is more credence in first addressing the subject in detail just as the entire climate change requires, than mocking it and a part of your audience. I can't imagine that attitude gaining a healthy growth considering an already niche viewer population. Honesty is good but sincerety is better.
Well Bill Gates got away with the convid scamdemic without repurcusions (and more $Billions in the bank) so why not just get rid of the sun as well. I've got a better plan .Why don't we just get rid of Bill Gates instead? Problem solved!

Dimming the sun? In England? Err. Ever been to England?? I live here. It's basically winter, 2 weeks of sun, then rain. We have naturally occurring clouds that dim our sun!!!

The biggest problem with climate science in the first place is that the earth and the atmosphere are simply too large to conduct actual experiments on so therefore all the climate alarm conclusions are just untested guesses. Climate models have severe limitations, they are a tool to be used but they are far less reliable or scientific than conducting actual experiments following the scientific method. Politics, money, personal ideologies and bias all affect the messaging coming from climate studies. Trying to dim the sun’s effect on the earth with atmospheric particulate or potions is absolute insanity.
