Elon Musk created money out of thin air with meme stock and borrowed against this meme stock. This is no different than a government pumping money into the economy, which if you follow classic economic theory, leads to a market crash. I contest that Musk has any real wealth. He is as phony as Holmes and Madoff and uses both schemes for his fraud. It bugs me on end to have the myth of the richest man repeated over and over again. He owns squat. He can dump ~300mill into elections because corrupt bankers let him. Any honest banker would never had swallowed a meme stock as a security for loans as big as Musk got. And it'll collapse just as in the 1920s and 1930s.
And Musk helped the accelerator and catalyst for this collapse to power.
EU just cancelled several $Bn green energy projects for the US. Whoohoo! GREAT! USA, YOU'RE A FASCIST KAKISTOCRACY … so we can't help safe the climate window that provides life to this blue ball we live on any longer. YEAH!

That was a good video. I used to be a Nebula subscriber, but I’ve recently learned that they pressured former creators to not criticize Israel for its genocide. I can’t financially support that kind of an organization in good conscience.
It appears the musk is an ignorant fraud.

The real danger isn't just Musk or Trump — they're just two individuals. If it were only about them, things could be managed.
The real issue lies with the large number of people who blindly support them and use terms like "woke" as a way to shut down any perspective they don't agree with.
The disturbing part is that it’s often not a lack of information. The facts are out there and accessible. In many cases, people are aware of them — they’ve just been conditioned to dismiss reality.
I once debated someone and backed up my points with a reputable article. They brushed it off as "woke propaganda." So I followed up with an academic paper that the article referenced. Their response? “You can’t trust woke academia.” I asked what sources they would trust, and the answer was simply “Common sense.”
But as Einstein once said: “Common sense is nothing but the collection of prejudices acquired by age 18.”
When we have one side of the political spectrum so entrenched in their refusal to accept reality, how can we possibly break through to them?
Musk is disgusting.
People thought he is a real life Tony Stark. Turns out he is actually a real life Lex Luthor.
Hiding behind a facade is what evil always does, deception is intrinsic to evil.
It's deeply unsettling how private corporations feed off public funds while actively working against policies that could benefit the very people whose taxes sustain them.
"Silicon Valley" (a comedy TV show) is actually a great, if hilarious, insight into this silicon valley culture. Until i saw that show, my vision of silicon valley was based on my interaction with nerddom and hackerdom online, a culture that eschews traditional esp. conservative values to promote freedom of information and sharing of knowledge (c.f. "jargon file"). I grew up with and around ppl who were exactly the kind of folks jargon file talked about, so naturally i assumed that what silicon valley will be full of – a hacker nerd paradise. The show really illustrates why it isn't so, showcasing the culture clashes both internal (wthin one person) and external between capitalist, libertarian and the traditional hacker mentality
