Concerns have been expressed recently about the increasing seismic activity at Campi Flegrei supervolcano in Italy. Right now, there is a fresh wave of earthquakes, with the strongest one ever measuring 3.2 on the Richter scale. Authorities have also issued a fresh warning with more information and enhanced the alert levels. But there are increasing hints that these changes could be an attempt to circumvent formally escalating the warning level to a more serious category.
