A huge mass of rock and ice from a glacier thundered down a Swiss mountainside, sending plumes of dust skyward and burying nearly all of Blatten, an Alpine village that authorities had evacuated earlier this month as a precaution. The devastating landslide is focusing renewed attention on the role of global warming in glacier collapses around the world. For more on how glaciers collapse, from the Alps and Andes to the Himalayas and Antarctica, FRANCE 24’s FranΓ§ois Picard welcomes Dr. Stuart Lane, Professor of Geomorphology at University of Lausanne.

Not climate change itβs the solar activity causing planetary earthquakes fractures in the crust and now mountains to split , all that rock from the sudden split piled up on the glacier and thatβs what brought down the glacier, the mountainside is next.

Yet, no one mentions the damage to our climate from the nuclear disaster in Japan in 2011. Scientists said at the time it would have a devastating effect on weather and climate for thousands of years. Nothing we can do about it.
I find it funny that just yesterday I watched a video from almost 20 years ago making the claims of climate devastation, and this morning I watched one showing the increase in new glaciers, lower temps over the last 100 years, and expanding glacier building.

Breaking News! Climate will always change even if there are 0 human inhabitants.
The world has gone through shifts in its climate ever since its existence. Dinosaurs emitted tons of methane and carbon dioxide daiky yet scientist claimed during those periods the earth's climate was stable. Those same scientists are trying to convince the stronger minded people that in 50 years we have dramatically shifted the climate.
Strong evidence support the earth wobbles on its axis and the northern hemisphere face is either closer to the sun or further away over the course of 100k years. The evidence supports that the northern hemisphere is current facing towards the sun.
The topic of global warming/climate change only comes up in the hotter months and never see anyone in the middle if a blizzrad thats dropping 6 in of snow an hour discussing such a ridiculous topic.
