Israeli naval forces intercepted a British-flagged aid vessel Monday, June 9, that was attempting to breach the blockade of Gaza, detaining climate activist Greta Thunberg and a group of international volunteers. The yacht, Madleen, was part of the Freedom Flotilla Coalition’s mission to deliver humanitarian supplies and protest Israel’s restrictions on Gaza.

The best post I've seen about this is a picture of Greta being given a sandwich and some water as she smiles with a caption that reads "kidnapped by the IDF" — next to a photo of one of the Kibbutzim girls being dragged into Gaza, bound and brutalized, covered in blood, with Pa's around her screaming, with a caption that reads "kidnapped by Palestinians."
Why is there a Climate note on this.

I thought Straight Arrow News was supposed to be unbiased. Calling this an “aid ship” is ridiculous, given that this tiny sailboat can barely carry much of anything beyond its passengers. It was obviously a photo op ship for credulous media to gobble up. Very disappointing Straight Arrow.

Regardless of what you all may think of Greta, how the hell is this legal??? Israel illegally boarded and detained people in international waters, well outside their jurisdiction. Why aren't people questioning that??
Fools in paradise… Lets be honest. This is simply a photo op. How much cargo could that ship carry that could be aid with all of those people on it. Not enough to make any impact at all.
