Tragedy in Croatia! Storm and giant waves in Istria, yachts scattered, debris everywhere
A strong storm hit Istria, Croatia, the worst affected were Rovinj, Pula and the central parts of the county. There was also damage in Poreč.
Stormy winds, heavy rain and hail caused extensive material damage on land and sea. Trees were blown down onto roads and cars, roofs were damaged. Emergency services are on the scene.
Several videos and images shared by local residents show the real impact of the storm, with yatch lying in ruins swept away by the waves, and debris from buildings scattered along the coast.

Ich wohne genau zwischen Pula und Rovinje und habe dem Sturm gesagt: "Eben habe ich meine Terrasse geordnet, würdest du bitte vorbeiziehen?" Er zog vorbei und putzte meine Terrasse nochmal ein wenig nach und ich dann auch. Vielleicht sollten wir mehr mit der Natur sprechen, und der Geist der Erde würde sich ändern.
