Humanity really needs to learn how to deal with the whiplash of drought and torrential rain. Water management is essential now than ever. Also to improve our architecture against temperature extremes mostly on the hot side. Thick thermal mass walls, good insulation, passive solar- and geothermal heating and cooling solutions, windcatcher and white roofs must be implemented broadly, the closer to the equator the more it will be the difference of dying from heat when at home or having a sanctuary when the outside heat becomes life threatening.
