Tree Fiasco: House Crushed in Quebec Mishap!
Watch the dramatic moment a massive tree crashes onto a house in Quebec, despite workers’ attempts to control its fall. This video captures the chaos and destruction, highlighting the risks of improper tree removal near residential areas. The backdrop of this incident includes ongoing debates about urban tree management, with experts warning about the dangers of “setback” and “spring pole” events, where trees can unexpectedly fall back or release tension. A 2023 Reddit discussion on r/arborists and a 2017 UGA Cooperative Extension guide emphasize the need for professional assessment to prevent such disasters. Quora users have shared similar experiences, noting the weight and unpredictability of large branches. With climate change exacerbating tree falls, as a 2024 Nature Climate Change study suggests, this video is a stark reminder of the potential hazards. Whether you’re interested in home safety, arboriculture, or just the unexpected, this clip offers a lesson in the importance of proper tree care.

Yeah that would definitely be a bad day. π«
Mayhem strikes again!
New world oder the great rest act fast now
And this is why we need HARD WORKING IMMIGRANTS ππ» π«Άπ» we donβt need Kevinsπ§πΌββοΈ pretending to be men when we all know they put that apron on for Big Bubba π₯ͺ πͺπ½π§π½ββοΈ
Can you say should not be able to own safety βοΈβs.
Gone in 60 seconds. Tree felling edition.
Done on purpose !!
That's guys from Quebec go figure lol
π
That fukin sucks
Now that's how you remodel a house ππππ
That first wedge was perfectly cut to make the tree fall on the house. This is why you hire a professional. On a positive note, lots of board feet in that tree to build a new house.
Thatβs what you get for cutting down a giant beautiful tree for no reason!
Just seeing the branches i knew they fucked up π
Hope they have paid their insurance π
Why would they cut down an old growth like that? Also, Jake from State Farm was nowhere to be found!
Tension is the main ingredient necessary in order to make a rope pull ! The dead end of the rope will pull the item desired in the direction that the tension is coming from . Teach them rigging before you teach them to start the saw π
i was routing for the tree
Tree Business owners nightmare⦠just use a crane⦠this was an idiotic decision⦠risky felling and it went wrong. Not worth the risk, at least 70% of that trees weight was house side⦠plus no one on the tag line⦠what in the Walter White is going on here?
Oh my.
It's like they left the border next to their house wide open for four years straight.
That HAD to be done on purpose, that wedge and the cut on the other side were perfect to slide the tree over the house. I refuse to believe it was an accident, nobody is this incompetent. Not to mention there's absolutely no tension on that rope.
I'm no tree guy but im pretty sure you gotta cut a wedge out in the direction you want the tree to fall, then on the other side, above the wedge you'd cut straight across until the tree starts to fall or lift off the chainsaw. Looks like they cut down diagonally towards the wedge which makes no sense at all
When you hire idiots this is the result.
Dumb ass. We always had a crane truck pulling the other way. That's just stupid as fk. They didn't account for the weight of the canopy. Then no counter weight the opposite direction.
INSURANCE FRAUD 101
First of all when you have tweedle Dee and tweedle Dum doing a tree job they have no business doing, then you get exactly what you deserve.
These idiots did no top removal what so ever.
These dumbasses went straight to trying to wedge it. I can see the lean on that damn thing sitting from my toilet
I know a guy that knows a guy said he can cut that tree down πππππ
πππ
So, we usually top the tree first to Take off some weight, then tie a few lines on the tree pulling very hard away from house. Then, do the back cut almost thru but stopping and allowing the truck to pull the tree the rest of the way.
The rope is dangling there like… "Hey, don't blame me!"
In college I worked as a city tree trimmer… anyone professional would have cut this tree down in sections starting from the top to avoid this.
That loose anchor rope sure helpedππ this had to be done on purpose because anybody who knows anything can see they did not cut their wedge right
The wedge was in the correct area the problem is the triangle was cut at a downward angle instead of an upward angle the weak part of the tree is now to the right instead of the left learn how to cut corners
That's what you get when you seek the lowest quote
Why did they tree and take such a huge tree down in one go? Most tree trimmers Iβve seen would take something this big down in smaller pieces given how close it is to a dwelling.
