Pakistan’s water crisis is at a turning point with the Green Pakistan Initiative, which proposes new canals that could drastically impact Sindh’s water supply, farmers, and ecosystem. In this insightful discussion, we are joined by Naseer Memon, an expert in climate change, natural disasters, and public policy, to break down the controversies surrounding these canals, their potential impact on the Indus River, the rare Indus dolphin Bhullan, and the already shrinking mangrove forests. Is this project truly for the people, or does it primarily serve corporate interests? Will Sindh’s resistance hold against federal policies?
Watch now for an in-depth analysis of Pakistan’s water politics and its future implications!

Request india to release some indus water into Sindh!
The host should not make so many noises and only nudge with "acha" or a legit question when something needs more explanation. His small sounds every now and then distract from the guest's narration.
This issues not discussed in National Assembly why ?????
SINDH will never accept these canals anyhow .
CANALS ON RIVER INDUS ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE . NOW GOVERNMENT MUST HV DECIDED THAT PAKISTAN IS NECESSARY OR CANALS ?
1. The government added the scheduled petrol levy this month Rs 20, that's why the price seemingly did not go down. In reality the government decided to absorb the additional Rs. 6.
2. Dollars are needed for forex and thus import and export. We desperately need it.
3. The real question here was what the government was doing with existing canals. Their irrigation areas have not seen any investment. For example Kacchi canal was supposed to irrigate 755,000 acres, why is it still underdeveloped?
Very antistate podcast, softening the hard state.
